The MCC finances the construction of 4 local colleges in San Pedro

Local colleges will soon see the light of day in the localities of Youwasso, Ouéoulo and Adjamene and Mane, in the department of San-Pedro. The official launch of the said construction works took place last Friday in the Youwasso basin. According to Rajan Florence, general manager of Millennium Challenge Account Côte d’Ivoire (MCA-Côte d’Ivoire), the establishment will receive 640 children in an R+1 building consisting of 16 classrooms, an administrative block, a computer room, a playground, separate toilets for girls and boys, two sports fields and a football field.

She indicated that approximately 7,000 students currently enrolled in elementary schools with 54% girls are expected to benefit from these schools.
