In the field of Post and Telecommunications, “three draft executive decrees were presented approving the modifications to the specifications annexed to executive decrees n°16-235, 16-236 and 16-237 of 04/09/ 2016 approving licenses for the establishment and operation of fourth-generation (4G) public mobile telecommunications networks and the provision of telecommunications services to the public awarded to Algérie Télécom Mobile; Wataniya Telecom Algeria and Optimum Telecom Algeria”.
The changes to the specifications in question aim to “increase the capacity of the 4G network by assigning new frequency resources and integrating the amount of the annual fee for the management, assignment and control of said additional frequencies “.
At the end of the presentation, the Prime Minister recalled “the need for operators operating in this field to respect their commitments to customers, particularly in terms of the quality of services and the improvement of coverage, both at the city level and in remote localities”.
In the area of health, two draft executive decrees were presented setting the missions, organization and operation of national institutes of higher paramedical and midwifery training.
These national institutes are responsible, in particular, for ensuring the higher education of paramedics and midwives, the continuous training, further training and retraining of these personnel as well as the carrying out of research activities relating to their purpose.
Also, and to enable these institutes to carry out their missions, they will have an organization comprising in particular a board of directors and a scientific council.
In the field of Justice, the Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, presented a communication on the approach proposed for the implementation of the ban on the export of mass consumption products benefiting from price support from the part of the State as well as the prohibition of the importation of goods produced locally.
The presentation of this communication is part of the implementation of the directives of the President of the Republic set out at the meeting of the Council of Ministers of March 13, 2022.
With regard to Trade and Export Promotion, the government heard a communication presented by the Minister of Trade and Export Promotion on the regulation of the distribution of pasteurized milk packaged in sachets through the implementation introduction of a new distribution map to improve the distribution network for this product, taking into account population density and consumer needs.
