An innovative project? Take part in the CréaTag contest
Written by on100dayloans

Organized by the Water and Climate cluster and the Agglomeration of Agen, the third CréaTag competition has been launched. It is aimed at all initiators of innovative projects, with a view to the necessary adaptation to climate change.

This is the third edition of the CréaTag competition, and after being somewhat embarrassed by the health crisis due to Covid, CréaTag wants to extend its reach to all of France. This year, it offers the first two winners a financial envelope, in addition to the support, monitoring and training that the competition has had since its first edition in 2019.
This competition is therefore aimed at any project leader, young graduate or student, employee, existing or future company, associations. Four themes are targeted: water resource management, precision agriculture, sustainable air conditioning in cities, green economy.
A pre-selection will be made on file, the candidates will be invited to present their file orally, then the jury, composed this year of 12 people, will determine the projects to be retained. The winners are invited to settle in the future TAG business incubator and why not develop their company there.
“The goal is to attract talent to the TAG, and if they come from the region, it’s even better” presents Olivier Grima, vice-president at Agglo d’Agen, in charge of the economy, employment and the digital transition.
This CréaTag competition is inspired by the one organized by the Agropole and which has proven itself by welcoming entrepreneurs who have now acquired international renown, the most famous is certainly Yann Maus.
CréaTag is resolutely focused on technologies that allow the economy to prosper but above all take climate change into account. says Jean-Marc Bourniquel, secretary of the Water and Climate cluster and organizer of CréaTag.
Applications should be submitted by September 16. The first prize will be endowed with 15,000 euros, the second with 10,000 euros.
Among the winners of previous editions, some are already established as “Sowing and growing”, others are still in the study phase or in search of ultimate funding, among them the production of organic fertilizer from of bio-waste, the installation of photovoltaic panels alternating with the cultivation of medicinal plants, hermetic containers for the transport of bio-waste, which would avoid the loss of methane… Any idea will be studied carefully.
