Spring is approaching and new shops are blooming in Toulouse. Here is a brief overview of the businesses that have opened their doors in recent weeks in the Pink City.
In the city center, rue Saint-Antoine du T. this is the brand Caudalie who opened a new store. The cosmetics brand also offers a spa there. The Coq Sportif also recently moved to rue des Changes.
On the manufacturing side, Mr Minelli opened its first concept store for men, rue d’Alsace-Lorraine at the end of 2021.
Decoration, stationery, ready-to-wear…
More artisanal, a stationery opened at 6 rue de la Bourse: Free time offers a fine selection of very original notebooks, pads, cards and announcements.
On the interior decoration side, the House Marah moved to 5 rue des Arts in early March. This “minimalist homeware” shop is temporary, it will close its doors on June 25, 2022.
Place Saint-Cyprien interior is an original concept that was born a few weeks ago: Mustache offers a selection of clothing, accessories, decorative objects… with only ethical and responsible brands. A little extra, for each item sold, one euro is donated to the Toulouse association Champ d’actions, which organizes cleaning operations on the banks of the Garonne every weekend.
Five guys downtown
I’ensign yayaspecialist in fashion and decoration, is expected at Place Salengro, in place of the former wedding dress store.
Still in the city center, the Saint-Georges shops will welcome the brand La Boulangerie artisanal from April.
KFC has opened a new restaurant in the heart of Toulouse, on the Franklin-Roosevelt alleys. After settling in Blagnac, the brand five guys is now targeting the center of the Pink City. The fast food will soon open at 24, rue Alsace-Lorraine.
New also in the shopping centers of the agglo
In terms of shopping centers in the Toulouse conurbation, there are also many new openings. Thus at Portet shopping centerafter Rituals and Lovisa at the end of 2021, the Carrefour Occasion brand opened in January, followed by the Bistro régent restaurant. Free has also just opened a store at the beginning of March.
Other brands are expected in the second half of 2022: Zen (grocery tea room), but also Pitaya and the Bagel Shack. Centrakor will be set up outside the centre, in place of PicWic Toys, in May.
Also in Portet-sur-Garonne, the Degriffstock brand opened its first store in Haute-Garonne at the end of last January.
Zara expands in Blagnac
In Blagnac, Growth opened at the end of 2021. The Excellence brand, which offers fashion and accessories at reduced prices, has been welcoming customers since February. Pokawa restaurant opened on March 10.
Upcoming openings: Tezenis (lingerie) and Came (down jackets). Note, the Zara store will expand.
Pitaya arrives at the Gramont shopping center
At Gramont shopping centerthe Pitaya restaurant is due to open very soon. Gourmands will be delighted with the Cure gourmande, a brand of biscuits, confectionery and chocolate which is due to open in the coming weeks.
At the Roques shopping center, the men’s ready-to-wear brand Shilton recently opened. A Ouie audition boutique is expected very soon.
