mmv, Banque des Territoires and Crédit Agricole des Savoie create Foncière de Développement des Alpes

As part of its economic development, the mmv group is joining forces in equal shares with Banque des Territoires and Crédit Agricole des Savoie to create a new hotel property company: Foncière de Développement des Alpes.

The Foncière de Développement des Alpes, officially created last February, has 16 M€ in equity and aims to carry out operations for around 150 to 300 M€ in the resorts of the Alps.

Investing our own funds to ensure the long-term maintenance of warm tourist beds in our resorts is part of our commitment to the Territory. Partnering with mmv and the Banque des Territoires also means sharing a common vision of responsible investment with the desire to allow the emergence of structuring, sustainable projects within the framework of a long-term vision. says Laurent BENNET, Managing Director of Crédit Agricole des Savoie.

For the Banque des Territoires, this initiative is part of a strong approach to support hosts both in the development of the territory and in support of local activity. “ With this property, the Banque des Territoires, making Tourism a priority area of intervention, contributes to economic development and job creation in mountain resorts, serving ever more attractive territories. underlines Arnaud Beaulieu, director of the City, Real Estate and Tourism department of the Banque des Territoires.

According to the specialist firm G2A, a 600-bed tourist residence corresponds to nearly €5 million in economic benefits for the local economy, including €1 million for ski lifts in a large ski area. The economic impact of the projects supported by this new real estate company is therefore particularly ambitious.

For mmv, the creation of this property is an effective way to further accelerate a development already sustained in recent years: By relying on this new property and with the participation of our partner banks, our ambition is to finance around ten projects over the next 5 years, i.e. approximately 7,000 tourist beds. continues Jean-Marc Filippini, President of mmv. “ mmv has been present for more than 30 years in the Alps. We have launched 4 new destinations this year and have 2 projects under construction. This new step will further accelerate the deployment of our club residence and snow resort concept in new destinations. concludes Jean-Marc Filippini.
