Yassir market is based on the new concept called “Dark store” available on the application Yassir Expressit makes it possible to support the transformation of post-covid consumer behavior. It is a local physical warehouse without storefront and without reception, serving only as a storage and delivery point, and allowing customers to have essential groceries delivered, on more than 1000 references, and in a few minutes.

This innovative business model is part of the start-up’s diversification strategy, Yasirwhich is one of the precursors in Africa and Morocco.

Yassir Express currently has 8 operational stores in Casablanca, Kenitra, Agadir, Marrakech, Fez and Meknes, and is capitalizing on a rapid expansion plan concerning new districts, particularly in Casablanca, as well as a presence in new cities in the kingdom, such as Tangier, Rabat, Mohammedia, etc. in order to serve the whole Kingdom.

The service started in September 2021 and has already been bombarded with requests due to the development of new post-covid Moroccan consumption habits.

Deliveries are made 6 days a week, from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., and from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. in this holy month. The cost of the service is 7 Dhs outside the promotional period.

Founded in 2017, Yassir Inc is a start-up specialized in the field of innovative mobile solutions. It provides 3 types of services: transport, delivery of meals and groceries (Dark stores). It operates in 30 cities spread over 3 continents (Africa, Europe, and North America). The company has more than 1,500,000 users and 10,000 partners.

Launched in October 2018 in Morocco, Yassir Maroc now has more than 50 young talents in its team and plans to double its workforce by the end of the year. At the head of the Moroccan subsidiary, Aziz JAOUHARI TISSAFI, serial entrepreneur, engineer and expert in e-commerce and the on-demand economy.
